Tango Vivo (La Wellington Típica) is Wellington's authentic Argentinian Tango Band.
Tango Vivo bring you the energy and rhythm of tango, as well as the pathos and emotion typical of this special genre.
With broad musical and dance experience, the band plays for tango dancing, but also loves sharing tango to theme and bring events to life.
The band is generally a quartet, made up of violin, piano, upright bass and bandoneon (Argentinian accordion for tango).
To really spice up your event, include gorgeous Argentinian tango singer, Marilyn Mansilla and/or the drama of a pair of tango dancers.
Acoustic or amplified options can be considered depending on the size of your event.
All instruments are transportable, so no piano is required.
