Fabio, also known as GROOVABU, is a Brazilian percussionist, drummer, and DJ with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. Known for his vibrant performances, Fabio fuses Afro-Brazilian rhythms with House and Afrohouse beats, creating an electrifying sound that energizes audiences across Aotearoa.

Throughout his career, Fabio has performed at both intimate venues and large-scale concerts in Brazil and New Zealand, including the renowned Brazilian Carnival. In New Zealand, he has brought his rhythmic energy to major festivals such as Earthbeat, CubaDupa, and the Auckland Arts Festival. His talents have also been showcased on screen, recording for TVNZ alongside Anika Moa and Andrew McLennan from Coconut Rough.
